outbidmyapp
Rules
This is a public leaderboard of mobile apps. You pay to put an app on it, and
your rank is decided by how much has been paid. Nothing else affects it.
How ranking works
- Bids are whole US dollars, $1 minimum.
- Your amount decides your rank. Paying less than the top bid still puts you on the board at whatever rank that amount reaches.
- Equal totals stay in the order they were placed — the older listing keeps the higher rank.
- A bid buys an amount, not a rank. Someone can outbid you while you are paying, and your rank will reflect that.
- Submit the same app again to raise it. You pay only the difference between what you have already paid and what it costs to pass the leader, subject to the $1 minimum.
- Rank changes only once your payment clears.
What appears on your listing
Everything shown — name, icon, description — is taken from the app's own
store page at the moment you pay, and is not editable afterwards. You
cannot write your own copy, which is what stops the board being used to
misrepresent someone else's app.
What you may list
- Apps on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- The iOS and Android versions of one app are separate listings.
- No sexual or adult content.
- No chat or invite links.
Payment and refunds
Bids are final and non-refundable. Your listing stays on the
board permanently; being outbid pushes it down rather than removing it.
There are two exceptions, and only two:
- If a listing breaks these rules we remove it, without a refund.
- If an app's owner asks us to remove their app, we remove it and refund whoever paid. We are removing it to protect ourselves, not because the bidder did anything wrong.
Charges appear as OUTBIDMYAPP. If you dispute a payment,
the listing's rank is removed.
If your app is listed and you would rather it were not
Anyone can put any app on the board, so a listing does not mean the
developer paid for it or endorses this site. Email
hello@outbidmyapp.com from an
address connected to the app and we will take it down.
